Make a week out of it and travel to the Goldfields
Kalgoorlie is a great place to spend a few days or even a week, and these activities would be a good opportunity to make a holiday of it. At the same time, you can give your child or children an unusual place to go and have a fun day There are also other adult shows on during the months of March, with the Kids Fest being held in April, 2018.

This is put on by the Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce, and is "KBCCI and Variety Geoff Kemp Charity Golf Day".

It will be an all-day event on the 9th March. This is an annual event which raises much-needed awareness and funds for Variety, The Children's Charity.

It is held at the world-class Kalgoorlie Golf Course, and entrants will get breakfast on arrival, on-course food and beverages throughout the day, and a presentation luncheon.

Organised by Tjuma Pulka 96.3FM, this will be held on 10th March from 5.00 pm and the venue will be revealed when you buy your tickets. Mathias Duplessy is a French Composer and multi-instrumentalist who travelled to the Far East and beyond.

He has been fortunate to have met some of the world's most accomplished musicians the "Violins of the World". Mathias Duplessy's will be in partnership with the Brownley Gospel Singers, and this will create a new musical adventure. Music will be a mixture of traditional folk songs and original pieces, as well as various classics arranged by Mathias Duplessy.

This will be on 16th March at 7.30 pm at the Goldfields Arts Centre, and the orchestra will be live here for one night only. The Australian Chamber Orchestra performs concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra, and now the Goldfields Arts Centre. They will play classic favourites as well as exciting new music.

The organiser of this show is the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and it will be held on 25th March, at 6:30 pm, at the Goldfields Arts Centre.

The Johnny Cash Stage Show is a tribute to the man himself and is performed by International artist, Dail Platz who resembles Johnny and has a voice to match, making this a great event for Johnny Cash fans. There will be one performance only and you can book this by phoning 9021 0999 or go to this website.

If you're a kid or have kids, you cannot miss this free, two-day festival!

The Goldfields KidsFest will give families and children the opportunity to enjoy live performances from national artists which would normally only be accessible by travel to Perth or other cities in Western Australia.

At this event, there will be interactive and educational workshops including arts and crafts, science, dance, magic, cooking, circus skills and, of course, mining.

KidsFest brings exciting entertainment, activities and sports to one place for a whole weekend of fun for 0-12 year olds.

Entry is free, as are the activities, and there will be community food stalls which will have a great selection of tasty foods for purchase, or you can bring your own picnic to have on the day.

It will be on the 7th and 8th April, 2018 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm at the Oasis Recreation Centre, 99 Johnston Street, Somerville, Kalgoorlie, and you can find out more at this website.
