Golden Grove Citrus Orchard now offers a experience!Situated 45 minutes from central Perth, amidst the picturesque hills of the Chittering Valley, Golden Grove Citrus Orchard is home to a wide variety of delicious citrus fruit.Get your family together and enjoy their unique experience.Available Thursday to Sunday 9.30am to 4.30pm, the Orchard Tractor Tour will see passengers seated in a custom-made passenger trailer. The trailer will make its way through the orchard and a friendly farmer guide will provide interesting information about the fruit trees, growing seasons and different varieties of citrus.As the tour progresses, the farmer guide will tell you about the orchard and growing process whilst there will be opportunities to pick fruit directly off the tree, cut it open and taste it. Farm animal feeding is also part of the tour, and you are allowed to pick up to 5kg of fruit, per person, to take home which can be paid for in the packing shed after the tour.As Golden Grove Citrus Orchard has a wide variety of citrus trees, there will also be something in season and fruit picking is available all year round!The Golden Grove Cafe serves teas, coffee, scones, muffins, toasties and ice cream sundaes.
