Day at the Bay, to be held on 25 March 2017, is a special event just for teenagers. There's a huge of free activities including a mural spray-painting workshop with local talent, graffiti artist Dan Duggan, a 'Fix Your Bike' workshop run by Dismantle and a hands-on workshop to create your own very cool, totally individual, tie dye t-shirt which you get to take home.
You'll get to learn from Dan Duggan, a graffiti artist from Perth who has 20 years of experience and knowledge in urban art. For the past 10 years, he has taught graffiti art techniques in urban art workshops for young people from a wide range of backgrounds. You'll pick up some tips on techniques of graffiti and spray painting. You can see Dan's works around Perth - one of the works he was involved in is at the Golden Bay foreshore.
There'll be local DJ's and musicians who will be blasting out music to fill you with beats that resonate from your toes to your head. If you work up an appetite, there will be food trucks on hand to keep your stomachs filled.
Grab all your friends and come on down to the Golden Bay foreshore for a great day of music and fun activities at the Bay.
