Mini Golf for the Young at Heart
Gold Rush Mini Golf is one of those places you can't help but notice as you drive into Ballarat because of its themed course and landscaped gardens visible from the freeway. There are two course options. The outside course is based on the gold rush and created amongst well landscaped gardens. The inside course is called Lost Worlds and is a mash-up of themes including dinosaurs, glow-in-the-dark and pirates. As you make your way from room to room the theme changes.

It was a rainy day when we visited so we found ourselves trying out the indoor Lost Worlds course. The course was a delight to the imagination and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the highlights included gigantic moving dinosaurs which roar on occasion and a hidden room where the wall slowly collapses in on you.

There is also a simple cafe for parents who want to sit back and relax whilst their kids attempt the course. Across the carpark you will find the Ballarat Amazing Mill Markets, full of character selling a range of unique items like collectables, vintage gear and antiques.

Gold Rush Mini Golf is open 10 til 6pm seven days a week during peak season and Tuesday to Sunday off peak. The entry fee for one course is $13 per adult and $8 per child, or alternatively you can purchase a family pass for 2 adults and 2 children for $34. Please visit the website for the most up to date details.
