Welcome to the show of fun
WOW, show bags full of goodies, sideshow alleys just waiting for you to try your luck, rides to have you spinning, strong lads chopping wood, pigs that fly or should I say race, arts with crafts and the amazing circus.
Woohoo! It is that time again and the Gold Coast Show has moved to a fab new location at the Gold Coast Turf Club. It is entertainment galore and the place to be this weekend. Where do you start you may ask? Here are just a few hits on the list.
At the animal precinct come along and meet the gorgeous goats and chickens or take in the cattle judging and watch the pigs fly towards the finishing line. Don't forget to cheer on the wood choppers as they chop their way towards glory, an amazing feat in itself.
A visit just under the marquee will brighten the little faces as they visit the enchanted forest and greet the beautiful unicorns.
It is all a go at the Avenue Street Stage with fashion shows and ongoing dance and show stopping talent and entertainment.
Showtime FMX will get the adrenalin junkies going as these motocross extreme riders continue to amaze and defy us all.
If a rest is in order, sit back and relax and enjoy a coffee or even better, you can learn how to become a barista at the Palazzo Versace arena.
A whole lot of fireworks are set to explode and light up the night sky from 8.00 p.m. on Saturday night.
And hey, what would the Gold Coast Turf Club be without horse racing? On Sunday here you have the best of both worlds with racing from 10.00 am. Don a hat and have a flutter or watch from afar, the choice is yours.
