Get ready to roll through the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens on the fanciest little electric ride you could imagine. If walking isn't your jam, this glider is a nifty way to soak in the sights without breaking a sweat. It can fit a crowd of 67 lucky passengers, but just a heads-up—mobility aids are a no-go on the glider. Don't fret if you need a hand; you can stash them safely at the Sensory Garden Pavilion and be back before you can say "leafy paradise." Oh, and if you're a few inches shy of 1.5 metres, you'll have to sit this one out for safety reasons—sorry, not sorry.
Now, the glider takes off on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings for a couple of joyful jaunts at 9:30 and 10:45. Hop on over to the Sensory Garden Pavilion to start your adventure, where your driver will be your personal guide to the quirky flora and fauna lurking about. Just so you know, if you snag seats C1 or C2, you'll be facing the wrong way, which is probably intended to keep you on your toes. If you're planning to grab a ride, make sure to book in advance—no last-minute hurried dash when it comes to gliding through gardens. When it comes to getting there, think public transport or maybe stretching those legs—plenty of ways to make the journey fun. Parking is a bit of a wild card, so grab the EasyPark app to avoid any fines and keep your day stress-free.
