The summer, Gold Coast Rotary invites you to join the Gold Coast Ramble 2024 - a unique and innovative outdoor team event open to all levels of fitness.

Held on 4 February 2024, from 9 am to 11 am, the Gold Coast Ramble is a great opportunity to get your friends, family and colleagues together to enjoy a fun-filled day in the Broadbeach Precinct, whilst raising money for a worthy local charity, supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Staged in partnership with The Broadbeach Collective, the Gold Coast Ramble 2024 is also part of the inaugural Broadbeach Beats and Eats with entertainment and food options from 11 am to 5 pm.

The event will start and finish at the Centre Stage in the Broadbeach Mall and participants are invited to dress up in a 'movie-themed' costume.

Over 2 hours, teams of costumed participants will explore the parks, malls and streets of Broadbeach, following clues to locate 20 to 30 checkpoints! Think the Amazing Race or a Car Rally on Foot using an app!

At each checkpoint, teams will use the Goosechase app to download a challenge which could relate to the heritage, the natural environment, street art or the current infrastructure of the immediate area. This year, the app will include team photos and videos.

Gold Coast Ramble 2024 is a fun community event that will be enjoyed by all ages!

For families with younger children, there will be interactive activities at the checkpoints and you do not have to complete every checkpoint to have fun and win prizes.

But if you are more competitive, you can work as a team and strategise to try to complete all of the checkpoint challenges in the allocated time!

Prizes are awarded not only to the highest-point scoring team but also to the best-costumed team with plenty of random draw prizes.

An Opportunity to support the survivors of Domestic Violence
Your team is encouraged to support victims of domestic violence through our nominated charity Friends with Dignity by seeking sponsorship donations. The incentive is that each donation will earn additional event points - every $10 donation gains the team an additional point up to a maximum of 100 points ($1,000 team sponsorship). Your team members will be able to get their friends and work colleagues to sponsor their team.

Media Partner and Sponsor 94.1FM have generously offered $5,000 in radio advertising to be distributed as follows:

$500 for teams that raise $1,000 for Friends with Dignity

An additional $500 if teams increase fundraising to $1,500
