Dress Like a Movie Star & Make an Impression
Queensland Film & TV Events (formerly GC Indie Film TV Network) invites anyone interested in the film and television to attend this important industry networking event.

Dress to impress or grab a costume. The theme is 'Gold Coast Meets Hollywood'.

Organisers have invited a string of special guests who will announce new projects and give the audience valuable insights into all facets of screen production.

SPECIAL GUESTS
Special guest speaker is Colin Budds, a director/writer/producer with 45 years industry experience. He is currently working on Australian TV series Home and Away and Neighbours.

Multi-award winning Robert Braiden is the writer/director of a new contemporary sci-fi film called '1' which he will launch on the night. Filming is due to start in south-east Qld later this year.

An actor, or someone with similar industry experience, will be asked to give a quick 5-minute talk about what they're currently working on, their industry experience, or maybe even present a short sample of their talent.

Choreographer Sarah Jones and her Creative Dancers will provide live entertainment.

Local actress Erin Connor will be MC for the night. Erin starred 'as the hard-nosed feisty news reader covering all the action and drama' in a series called White Lines about the AFL

ACCESS
East Broadbeach is a popular local nightclub that is being opened especially for this event on Tuesday night. The usual entry is via a clearly marked doorway in the laneway just off Victoria St, behind the restaurant strip of Surf Parade. Access is via a long staircase, so anyone with mobility issues should contact the venue directly to make other arrangement.

When: Tuesday 10th March, Doors will open at 6.30pm with light canapés on arrival and a cash bar staying open until 1:00am. Staged events from 7.45-9.30pm.
