Right next to the Broadbeach Surf Club and opposite the beach is a place to inspire, contemplate and enjoy.

Art brings pleasure and joy to many. A painting can induce emotion, can mean so many things, in fact everyone has their own interpretation and thoughts. I love to ponder and contemplate what made the artist paint that painting, a story behind the painting.

Throughout December and January, the Royal Queensland Art Society Gold Coast is holding an exhibition of Gold Coast Landscape Art.

Paintings in all shapes and sizes, various mediums showcasing Gold Coast scenery including landscapes, seascapes, flowers and more, Paintings there are for sale which is a bonus and makes them a fantastic gift for a loved one or an extra special treat for yours truly.

Make sure when you are there that you do fill in the "People's Choice" slip and place in the box at the counter.

The RQAS Gallery is easy to find. Heading South to Broadbeach, turn left into Chelsea Ave and head down towards the beach.

25 Broadbeach Blvd, Broadbeach, cnr Chelsea Avenue.
Entry and parking is free.
Open Monday to Friday 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

And remember, paintings will give pleasure for a lifetime.
