Embrace the vibrant ancient Hindu cultural celebrations and spread a rainbow of colourful powders at the Holi Festival of Colours on 15 March 2025 in Southport.
What is Holi?
The traditional messages of
Holi are based on expressing the pure joy of the triumph of good over evil. It also represents the arrival of spring, falling in love, and forgiving others for past wrongdoings.
A central part of sharing this message is by throwing colourful powders in a colour fight which shows equality between men and women and people of all social backgrounds. This shows that meaning that everyone is fair game.
