Gold Coast Dog Parks

While walking and playing with your pet is a fun and rewarding exercise, taking your dog to the dog park or beach will be a special treat for owners and dogs alike.
The Gold Coast is home to over five dog parks specialising in a leash free environment filled with fun obstacles to keep your dog sharp as well as the opportunity to socialise with other dogs and their owners.
My favourite, and possibly one of the busiest dog parks on the Gold Coast is the Robina Parkway dog park on the corner of Robina Parkway and Boowaggan Road.
It's home to an A-frame, large concrete tunnel, weaving posts and hurdles not to mention it's a gathering hot spot for local dog lovers.
My other favourite dog parks include:
Ashmore Dog Park off Sun Valley Drive,
Eddie Kornhauser Reserve in Elanora,
Salt Water Park in Hope Island,
Pizzey Park in Mermaid Waters,
The Hinterland Regional Park in Mudgeeraba,
Schuster's Park on 19th Avenue in Palm Beach,
Musgrave Park in Southport and
The Robina Common in Robina.
Going to the beach is another fun option and the sand, fun and waves will always be rolling.
The top dog friendly beaches to visit are at Main Beach from the Southport Spit on the Sea Way wall south to signed area, Palm Beach's Currumbin Creek from Groyne north to the lifeguard tower, and the Tallebudgera Beach from Tallebudgera Creek from Groyne south to the signed area.
So with all these options and dog friendly environments available, take your dog out for some fun, socialising times with other Gold Coast dogs and dog lovers.
