A night to remember
There is something magical about either walking, if you are lucky to live close by, or hopping into the car and taking a journey down the road in anticipation of what lies ahead. A magical display of amazing Christmas lights shimmering in the distance as you turn the corner. Children's eyes light up and their mouths open wide as they stare in amazement. It's the beginning of Christmas…

This year more than 40 entrants with their elves and helpers have spent hours and hours of planning, creating and transforming their homes into amazing spectacular displays of dazzling and sparkling lights.

37 Eugaree Street Southport
Will last year's winner do it again? 37 Eugaree Street, Southport

With so many shimmering displays it is always hard to pick a winner but make sure you pick your favourite then vote between now and the 16th December and not only will you be voting for the WINNER but you could also be in to win a $50 Coles Myer gift card.

All aboard!! I can just hear Tom Hanks from the movie "The Polar Express" calling out! Why not take the hassle out of driving around the streets to find the lights and hop aboard the City of Gold Coast Christmas Lights Competition bus instead?

The bus tour will operate from Friday 18 December until Thursday 24 December 2015 and takes you around the streets of the Gold Coast. The tour departs nightly from The Arts Centre Gold Coast at 7pm and returns by 10pm. Bookings are essential, so book online to reserve your ticket today. Tickets start from $10 for Children and $15 for Adults.

To many the Christmas lights is a christmas tradition, so are you ready to join in the Christmas spirit?
