Gold Coast Arts & Crafts Markets

Published August 10th 2011
If you're looking for a fun, relaxing way to spend your morning, look no further than the beaches of the Gold Coast. This Sunday, rather than sleeping the day away to recover from a crazed Saturday night, look up which of Gold Coast's beach suburbs is offering the ever popular Arts & Crafts Market full of fashion, food, and family fun. Then, grab a friend and slip a few notes in your wallet, trust me, you're going to want a partner in crime, and you're not going to want to leave empty handed.

Meander your way through rows of merchant's tents stocked with homemade jewelry, hand sewn clothing and one of a kind artwork. The merchants behind the magic are sure to greet you with a smile and answer any questions you might have about their precious creations. Keep your mind open and let your eyes take in all the creative wonder the local artists have to offer. With something unique around every corner, you're sure to find the perfect gift for a family member or the perfect souvenir from your trip to the Gold Coast.

Don't miss out on these celebrations of creativity that offer fun for the entire family. Markets are open almost every Sunday on one of the beach suburbs such as Broadbeach, Coolangatta or Paradise Point. The fun kicks off at 8 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m., but by 9 o'clock the crowds start pouring, so get there early to ensure you don't miss out on a great deal.
