Do you want to be pampered and treated like royalty while you watch the latest blockbuster releases in the cinemas? Do you want gourmet food and champagne brought to your seat? If so, Gold Class is the only way to watch a film.
Now I'll be honest, it's not all glam. There is the constant interruption of waiters walking in and out of the cinema serving food and drinks. And sometimes the chairs recline back too far or not enough. But, I have to admit, there is something very satisfying about not having to leave your seat and being waited on whilst watching the latest releases.
Where else can you have a cocktail (my favourite: spiced mojito) and fudge brownie sundae (with Lindt chocolate I should add) whilst watching "Prometheus" on the big screen?
Now this Gold Class experience is a bit pricey: at Bondi Junction you're looking at $39.50 just for your seat if you go at night or on the weekend. Add your drinks and food and you've got a grand total of about $60-80. Let's just say this isn't something you would want to do on a regular basis (unless you're loaded, in which case go for it!)
But, on the whole, this is a cinema experience you have to try at least once! And book early, you don't want the seats right at the front,
