Try out the hovercraft

Queensland Museum's Sciencentre is hosting a fascinating exhibition all about the science of travel and transport. You can try being a pilot in the flight simulator, sail a land yacht or float across the floor on a Hoverdisk. There are over 20 amazing activities all aimed at discovering the wonder of transport.

Race your friends on the Recumbent Racer

Going Places is one fun exhibition which will keep young minds (and old) intrigued for hours - see if you can sort the bags with the airport inspired Luggage Loader. Design your own futuristic vehicle or take the carbon challenge to see how big (or small) your carbon footprint is. Any control freaks out there will love being a Virtual Traffic Controller for a while. When all that makes you weary, then it's time to try out all the different kinds of seats - from sporty to luxurious. Don't forget to take a look around the rest of the Sciencentre too.
