Being unable to eat gluten can be a bit of a drag when you're out and about. Especially with all the yummy take away options available to those wheat eaters. Having spent some time lurking in Prahran recently, I've managed to stumble upon a few places where one can gorge themselves, just like regular folk, without the consequences.

1. Lucky Coq

An amazing pub with a vast array of gluten free pizzas. My personal favourite is the Organico (mashed pumpkin, rosemary and soy cheese.)

Address: Corner Chapel Street & High Street Windsor
Open from 11:30am

2. Lord of The Fries

It's impossible for me not to mention the Lord. Being gluten and dairy intolerant, I thought a burger was a thing of the past. Then I found Lord Of The Fries. You can get yourself a vegan and gluten free burger. I also highly recommend the vegan chocoloate mousse.

Address: 170 Chapel St Prarhan
Open from 11:30 daily

3. Grill'd

Have a gluten free burger options too. I recommend the Baa Baa burger.

Address: 157 Chapel St Winsdor

Open from 11:30am
4. Mad Mex

Taco's, taco's taco! I love Mexican food. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my days it would be soft tacos. They use corn tortillas so you can opt for a soft taco, or even go for a naked burrito and sneaky frozen margarita.

Address: 129/131 Chapel Street
Prahran VIC
Open from 11:30am

5. Massive Wieners

A short walk off of Chapel down Greville, check out Massive Weiners. They offer gluten free weiner options and are adorable in their bow ties.

Address: 113 Greville Street Prahran
