The upcoming 'Glow Comedy Club' is a six-night showcase of some of Australia's funniest comedians at Functions on Chapel.

Running from 14 to 16 August & 21 to 23 August from 8pm to 10.30pm, this special event is proudly brought to you by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the City of Stonnington. Melbourne comedy lovers will be in fits of laughter with an incredible line-up of local comedy heroes and the hottest newcomer discoveries.

Come along and grab a snack and drinks from the club's pop-up bar and shake off those winter blues with a raucous night out.

The line-up includes:

Thursday 14 August: MC Colin Lane (Ready Steady Cook, The Circle) best known as the "Lano" from Australian comedy duo Lano & Woodley hosts tonight's line up. Joining him are Kate McLennan (It's a Date, Comedy Up Late, House Husbands), Amos Gill who at the age of 22 is fast becoming one of the hottest young comedians in the country, Tommy Little (Nova FM, The Project) with irresistible energy bursting to tell you the next story and Elbow Skin, Melbourne's beloved musical comedy duo who will have you in stitches with their cheeky songs and hilarious sketches.

Friday 15 August: MC Lawrence Mooney is best known as the host of his own hilarious show, Dirty Laundry Live, on ABC2. Joining him tonight's line up also includes Kate McLennan (It's a Date, Comedy Up Late, House Husbands), the razor sharp, bitchy and ballsy Nath Valvo (Nova FM), and the vibrant Em Rusciano (The Circle, The Project).

Saturday 16 August: MC Harley Breen (Adam Hills Tonight) has won over a legion of fans with his accessible and relatable comedy, and is sure to leave you with a side-splitting Saturday night. Along with vocal powerhouse musical comedian Geraldine Quinn (Spicks and Specks, Adam Hills Tonight, Rockwiz), one of Australia's most exciting character and banjo playing comedians Anne Edmonds (It's a Date, Wednesday Night Fever), award winning British Comedian Jeff Green (Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and World Comedy Tour) and the razor sharp and ballsy Nath Valvo (Nova FM).

Tonight's line up includes Adam Rozenbachs with a fresh, edgy perspective on observational comedy, Asher Treleaven's blend of physical comedy, social satire and stand up, Tommy Little (Nova FM, The Project) with irresistible energy bursting to tell you the next story and vocal powerhouse musical comedian Geraldine Quinn (Spicks and Specks, Adam Hills Tonight, Rockwiz).

Friday 22 August: Lawrence Mooney will keep the laughter rolling as Friday night MC. Tonight's line up also includes the unforgettable Tina Del Twist, award winning British Comedian Jeff Green (Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and World Comedy Tour), Australia's favourite Dave Thornton (Nova FM, Good News Week, Talkin' 'bout Your Generation, The Project) and one of Australia's most exciting character and banjo playing comedians Anne Edmonds (It's a Date, Wednesday Night Fever).

Saturday 23 August: Saturday's MC Harley Breen (Adam Hills Tonight) has won over a legion of fans with his accessible and relatable comedy, and is sure to leave you with a side-splitting Saturday night. Joined by singer/songwriter comedian Gillian Cosgriff, Amos Gill who at the age of 22 is fast becoming one of the hottest young comedians in the country, the leading lady of stand up comedy Fiona O'Loughlin (Sunrise, Good News Week , Spicks and Specks, Dirty Laundry Live) and Asher Treleaven's blend of physical comedy, social satire and stand up.
