Gloucester Falls Walking Track is an amazing experience with the scent of the forest lingering the air, views of mountains spread out across in front of you & #8206 ;making the scenery thrilling and the sounds of mighty waterfalls echoing through the canopies as you wander through the track. It makes you really feel a & #8206 ;sense of belonging as you begin to feel close to nature and its beauty. & #8206 ;



The Gloucester Falls Walking Track gives you this effect with the magical feel of untouched forest. It & #8206 ;is nestled in the World-Heritage Barrington Tops National Park, where you are welcomed to a & #8206 ;world of pure nature with changing scenery, awe-inspiring lookouts and magnificent waterfalls. & #8206 ;



This short easy 1.5km (approximately one hour) walk is a perfect escape from the city. It also makes a & #8206 ;wonderful day trip for the whole family, as the walking track is child-friendly and suitable for all & #8206 ;fitness levels. & #8206 ;



This lovely walk begins from the Gloucester Falls Picnic Area and takes you through lush sub-alpine & #8206 ;forest with marvelling views and lookouts throughout the walking track. Andrew Laurie Lookout is the perfect stop to take in the breathtaking views and as you continue back onto the track the & #8206 ;multilevel water cascade of Gloucester Falls welcomes you...& #8206 ;


If you are a birdwatching enthusiast, then you will love Gloucester Falls Walking Track as it is home to an abundance of & #8206 ;birdlife which can be heard throughout the forest and at times spotted, even nearby the track, so & #8206 ;do keep an ear and eye out!

Throughout the walk there are lookouts and views that can be admired as well as glimpses of the & #8206 ;picturesque river that plunges over the plateau to the valley, making this walk even more spectacular. & #8206 ;

Getting to Gloucester Falls: Travelling from Bucketts Way, between Gloucester and Stroud, turn into & #8206 ;Gloucester Tops Rd and continue to the Gloucester River, continue to follow the river for & #8206 ;approximately 40 minutes then take a left fork to Gloucester Tops Picnic Area and follow the road & #8206 ;to the picnic area- the walk commences here. & #8206 ;
