Get ready to light up your life when GloTopia comes to Woodward Park in Liverpool for one weekend of fun, food, fire and fantasy this August.

This visually spectacular glow event will have you exploring a magical land of over 60 giant illuminated decorations as you wander through the LED night garden. Featuring mystical creatures, enormous mushrooms, huge archways and flower gardens, you’re sure to be transfixed.

Overhead, there’s another fantasy land and walk-through that will see you immersed in a massive 7m x 5m waterfall LED curtain, LED galaxy stars and magical creatures of the deep. A 12m illuminated cloud will expand your imagination and your inner child will have your head floating in the clouds.

But that’s not all. GloTopia has so much more for you to enjoy. There are roving performers and characters, an LED hula hoop artist, bubble mermaids, fire performances each night at 8 pm, music from local performers and a snow machine.

Carnival rides provide further entertainment with something for the whole family. Favourites include dodgems, the Riptide ride, the Windjammer chair swing, bungee trampolines and inflatables. Go for a bounce on the ferris wheel jumping castle, challenge your mates on the Mechanical Meltdown, take a run through the Atomic Surge obstacle course or partake in all of them as the best part of this carnival is that all rides are included in your entry ticket.

Savoury food and dessert stalls are aplenty here with a great line-up of vendors to keep you fuelled. You’ll find the likes of the classic Tornado Potato providing chips on a stick with various flavours (including nacho cheese), Cracklin woodfire pizza, hand-crafted burgers, exotic liquorice and candy, Tutti Frutti fairy floss and more to satisfy your appetite.

Retail market stalls will see you shop to you drop with wonderful local products, such as clothing, jewellery and candles, to name but a few of the items that will fill your bags.

Two competitions could see you winning a $50 Eftpos card -

The best dressed comp is for the best glowing outfit and if you don’t have glow products at home then you can purchase them from the GLOW tent. There’s 2 x $50 cards up for grabs each day with potential winners being approached from 7pm and winners being announced during the fire show introduction.

Make sure your phone is fully charged to capture and enter your best snaps in the photo comp for a chance to win a $50 card. Entry closes 7 days after the event concludes with judging and awarding of the prize taking place 10 days after the event concludes. Tickets to GloTopia are $30 per person for those 4yrs & over, with 3yrs & under free. You can purchase online or at the ticket box on the day until sold out.
