I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
Event:
Fancy travelling around the world is just one day? You won't really circumnavigate the entire globe at this unique event, but as you take your pick of the exotic cuisine at stalls around the 25-metre-long communal table, you will get to experience tastes from countries and cultures from all over the world.

The Global Table is a popular annual event that in Bondi Junction that seeks to celebrate cultural diversity. In 2014, it will be held at Oxford Street Mall, on Sunday May 4, between 11.00am and 4.00pm.

Twelve different cuisines will have their food represented, including Tibetan and Jamaican. There will also be a program of dancing and songs from almost every continent (it's hard to get Antarctica involved) and activities just for children.

With the food and entertainment all provided, all you really need to do is provide the guests, so grab your friends and head down for some lunch. Up to 8,000 people are expected to drop by, so you may even come away with new ones.
