Experience music and food from around the world
The fantastic Global Beats and Eats Festival returns to Perth again this year. The festival will be held at Liddell Park, Corner of Wanneroo Road and Beach Road in Girrawheen on Saturday 6th April 2013, starting at 5pm until 9.30pm.
Proudly brought to you by the City of Wanneroo and presented by Act-Belong-Commit, the Global Beats and Eats Festival 2013 combines powerful music with mouth-watering foods to make this an awesome community event.
The Global Beats and Eats Festival 2013 offers a whole range of free activities, live music and dancing performances, food and refreshment stalls and roving entertainment for people of all ages.
Kicking off the live entertainment will be the Belleville Gypsy Swing band, playing a selection of songs to get your toes tapping and your hands clapping. The entertainment line-up will also include Blue King Brown, the Village Vibes, Grace Barbé with her five-piece band, Bantus Capoeira Australia, The Chung Wah Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe and Muchos Mariachi.

There will be a tantalisingly tasty range of foods from around the world for you to sample and enjoy. Try some traditional delights including Asian, American, Spanish, Indian, Argentinian, Turkish and Italian style cuisine. Choose from churros, hot dogs, burgers, empanadas, kebabs, falafels, nachos, satay, curry and much more.
Plenty of free activities will be organised to keep the kids happy and entertained during the festival, including workshops by the Wasamba Carnival Drummers and the Eco Faeries, a bouncy castle and face painting.
