At the meeting point, your pilot gives you a briefing on what to expect and then you're off to your launch point. At the launch point, it's all hands on deck as you assist in setting up the balloon prior to launch - a great way to help wake you up and get the blood pumping.
From there, stand back in awe as the fire kicks on and fills the balloon with hot air.

Group numbers are kept pretty small (we went with 10 others on a full basket) and you'll fly in a hot air balloon for approximately one hour over the city of Melbourne and surrounding suburbs with views that stretch for kilometers, depending on the clarity of the morning. Enjoy the sunrise as well as spotting the city's popular landmarks (or even your own house!)
The flight is rather smooth and peaceful and certainly a once in a lifetime experience. The flight is suitable for children and adults who have average strength and mobility and once the flight comes to its decent, there's even the extra option (for an additional $40) to have a champagne buffet breakfast at the conclusion of your trip.
