The plan for Glenthorne National Park is slowly but surely taking shape, and if you're curious to see how, then the next Glenthorne Open Days are for you.
On Saturday and Sunday the 26th and 27th of October 2019, you will have the opportunity to join a ranger-guided walk around the property to see firsthand what is planned as well as view artist impressions. The walks are free, but bookings are encouraged. If you were at the previous open days, you would have been aware of the sheer number of people interested in these walks, and in fact, they were all booked out. So, be quick and head to their website to register as soon as possible.
The open days will begin with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony hosted by Kaurna Traditional Owners at 10.30am, followed by David Speirs, The Minister for Environment and Water. Your kids can then get up close and personal with native animals and participate in geocaching with Nature Play SA. Snacks and refreshments also available for purchase.
Entry is via 5b Majors Road O'Halloran Hill. Gates will open at 10am, and ample parking will be available.
