Is Glenny Kebabs Melbourne's best kebab shop?
Step through the makeshift indoor garden, adorned with festoon lighting and revel in the smells of Glenny Kebabs. A relatively new institution in the area, Glenny Kebabs has already solidified its presence in the hearts - and stomachs - of Glen Waverley residents. Now known for their prolific car events and menu variety, Glenny started from one local foodie's desire to provide good quality HSPs and kebabs.

Clean, recognisable branding immediately draw the eyes of the passerby. With two current locations open, and another two coming soon, Glenny Kebabs has already been featured in multiple news articles and the owner Asad Syed has been profiled in The Age and Herald Sun. With mock meats, sweet potato fries and healthier meal options, Glenny Kebabs is not your typical, run-of-the-mill kebab shop.

We stopped by to try the infamous Halal Snack Pack. Loaded with cheese, any sauce you would like and lamb or chicken (or both), this is a truly satiating meal. Inside Century City Walk, in Glen Waverley, Glenny Kebabs was already experiencing the lunchtime rush. Barely 12 pm and many of the tables were filling up. Stellar customer service, lively music and jovial atmosphere made for a fantastic lunch setting. Ample seating and tables available for big or small groups.

Rather than waiting around for your order number to be called, Glenny Kebabs uses a buzzer system. While waiting for our elusive buzzer to vibrate, we played a few, family-friendly board games. Connect 4, Battleship, Jenga and more were available for use and made the very quick wait time, go even quicker.

At last, our buzzer sounded and we were delighted with the meals presented to us. Two regular Halal Snack Packs (or HSPs) with drinks set us back $30 - a very reasonable price to pay considering the high quality and how delicious the food was. Piping hot and loaded with cheese, meat, and sauce, these HSPs were to be admired.

With such a diversified menu, it is easy to see how Glenny Kebabs has become so popular. Forget the stock standard: garlic, bbq, and chilli sauces are still available but you're also able to be a bit adventurous with hummus, guacamole, and peri-peri as some of the options.

Catering to a variety of dietary requirements, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available as well. Fantastic meals that serve all kinds of visitors to Glenny Kebabs, it is well worth the trip to check them out.
