Today, we ventured out to the woods, just around from our house in search of some tranquillity. I love starting our days off in nature. It's refreshing to the soul and you get the added bonus of burning a few calories.

On the main track
The Glenfern Valley Bushlands Walk, which we explored today, is located in Upway around 6 minutes away from the township. My wife and I wanted something a bit more challenging, so we strapped bubs up and decided to take the path down to the creek instead of the flat track.
The walk itself was quite easy and lasted about 40 minutes. There were lots of gravel downhill, so watch your step and wear good shoes. It's worth nothing the track is a loop, so we didn't quite have to worry about getting lost.
The track is dog-friendly on lead. There were picnic tables and benches for use as well. The walk can be extended to 1.5 hours if you are up for it.
The creek was flowing with the recent rainfall, which was an added bonus. We sat down by the creek and enjoyed a little snack with bubs and enjoyed the sounds of nature.
We will be adding this track to our regular hiking list as it was a moderate to easy walk with a baby and we were able to grab a beautiful cup of coffee from the local town nearby.
