It is quite amazing how residents can live in their hometown and not really enjoy the tourist aspect of it as visitors do. On Wednesday 13th March 2019 from 4.00 to 8.00pm, visitor or resident, you may like to take an excursion and find adventure in Glenelg. The tour is free to everyone but must be booked through Eventbrite , so numbers are known.

Once booked, everyone is to meet up at Bay Discovery for a tour back in time to historic Glenelg . Glenelg is a beachside suburb of Adelaide and is located on the shore of Holdfast Bay in Gulf St. Vincent. Glenelg was established in 1836 and is the oldest European settlement on mainland South Australia.

A stroll along the beach and an ice cream from known brands such as Copenhagen, St Louis or Gelatissimo will be just what the doctor ordered. This event is usually sold out very quickly, however, there are still tickets available for this Thursday.

The event is being held on stolen Kaurna Aboriginal land. Enjoy the history and Glenelg's beauty in orated stories and experiences. The address is 1 Moseley Square, Glenelg.
