Firstly, Glendi is moving! For the very first time, Glendi will be held in Adelaide's premier outdoor event space, Victoria Square in the heart of Adelaide. Glendi will be held across both sides of Victoria Square on Saturday and Sunday with the road in between being closed for easy pedestrian access between the two sections of the square.
And secondly, this year the event is free for everyone to attend. The festival will start on Friday 23rd March and finish on Sunday 25th March. It's going to be a full on 3 day weekend of Greek food, dancing and culture.
And lastly, the festival will also cover a Friday evening for those who wish to pop in after work and relax with some great food, wine, music and company.

Glendi is one of the premier Greek cultural festivals in Australia and is one of the largest of its kind in the country.
Greek culture and heritage are strong here in South Australia. Our state prides itself on our multicultural population and the Greek community is a big part of who we are.
Greek food - did someone mention food? Oh yes, there'll be Greek food and plenty of it. There'll be a host of food stalls to give you the most amazing choices and tantalise your taste buds. Some of the fine food choices include spit roast meat, yiros, souvlaki, loukaniko, Greek salad, octopus, calamari, fish, spanakopita, loukoumades, baklava, galaktoboureko, crepes and loads more.
The festival will be full of music, food, wine, dance, art and culture. Come along to Glendi and experience the community and family spirit that makes this festival great. "Glendi" is the Greek word for "party" or "celebration". Come and 'Glendi' with the Greeks and have a wonderful cultural family-friendly free day/s out!
So, get your Greek on and as the Greeks themselves say, pame!
