The Glenbrook Native Plant Reserve Spring Fair is on! Come visit the Glenbrook Native Plan Reserve on 7 and 8 September from 9 am - 4 pm to celebrate spring in the Blue Mountains.
The Glenbrook Native Plant Reserve and Nursery in the lower Blue Mountains is maintained by volunteers from the Blue Mountains group of the Australian Plants Society since 1969. The reserve specialises in Australian plants and indigenous plants to the Blue Mountains region in particular.

Spring has sprung!
At the Glenbrook Native Plant Reserve Spring Fair, there will be a wide range of Australian Native Plants for sale, walks through the Reserve, displays of local artwork. Enjoy the beautiful surrounds by exploring the tracks inside the reserve for families and children. Bring your own picnic lunch for a fun day filled with exploration and natural beauty.

There is a wide range of flora and fauna to explore including, a range of ferns, flowering monocotyledons and dicotyledons. Prepare to be delighted by echidnas, possums, a variety of rosellas, lorikeets, cockatoos and parrots along with frogs, native lizards and other reptiles.
The reserve is located about 60 km from Sydney on the north side of the Great Western Highway, next to Glenbrook Oval and opposite the Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre at Glenbrook.

The small nursery at the reserve is maintained by volunteers. The reserve and nursery are open through noon - 4 pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Funds raised from the sale of native plants in the nursery are put back into the reserve to cover the cost of essential ongoing maintenance work. The money also funds improvements to the reserve.
