Glen Park Reserve: A Community Play Space and so much more

Situated on quiet, leafy Glen Park Road in Bayswater North, there are two car parks. The first car park will give you easy access to the community centre, cafe and garden. The second car park is closest to the playground.

The Dandenong Creek Trail will also bring you out closest to the cafe if you want to cycle or walk.

Glen Park Community Play Space

Opened in March 2011, the Play Space has plenty of room to run and play in a lush bush setting. There are activities for all ages, including a specially designed toddler area and climbing frames and swings for the older kids.

It can be hard to find a chance to exercise when you have kids, so take advantage of the outdoor gym equipment which is right next to the Play Space.

Community Centre and Cafe

Grab a bite to eat at the Cafe, open 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday (closed on Saturday and Sunday). Check availability ahead of time in summer as the cafe may close from mid-December until mid-January.

The Community Centre also offers courses and workshops, a volunteer program, facility hire and runs the Community Garden just across the car park.

Glen Park Sensory Art Trail

As you move around the Reserve, keep an eye out for seemingly random art. Part of the Sensory Art Trail it encompasses decorative bollards, murals, picnic tables and park benches.
