Established by Sports Car Drivers SA, the Hill Climb race had been using the steep driveway at Glen Ewin Estate and Lower Hermitage Road as part of its track before motor competitions were banned on public roads. Glen Ewin Hill Climb Revival on Sunday the 30th of January 2022 gives all car enthusiasts the opportunity to take a step back into South Australia's racing history. More than forty vintage and classic cars will be on display including the 1930s and 1950s original class winning cars. You will also get to see the original victors trophy.
Cost is $5 per adult and tickets can be purchased online via their website. Children under the age of 12 can enter for free. And, while you're there, don't miss out on trying the estate's famous fig gin. Breakfast platters and lunch are available as well. Glen Ewin Estate is located at 43 Lower Hermitage Road in the Adelaide Hills.
