The tourist information centre is situated in Settlers Rotary park right in the middle of Glass House Mountains village. For both visitors and locals, this place is a must before you go wandering around the area. The centre is manned by well-informed volunteers who can give you up-to-date information about all things local and in the surrounding area thus saving you a lot of time. It is a one-stop-shop for tourist information including maps and brochures.

Many people call in to find out about the walks. The staff can inform them what walks are suitable for their level of fitness, how long they will take and give them maps. Apart from walks around the mountains areas, there are many more walks close by which are worthy of a visit.

The centre is in a park with a children's play area, a BBQ, picnic tables and toilets that are only open during the centres opening hours.

Inside the spacious airconditioned centre, you will find lots of travel information as well as local information. There is a small amount of local handicraft and produce for sale. Delicious sauces and jams. An interesting booklet written by a local man about the history and geology of the mountains is also available for sale.

The centre is open seven days a week from 9 am till 4.30 pm. From there, you will always be pointed in the right direction no matter what you want to do. Or phone (07) 5458 8848.
