Located along Binara Street in Canberra CBD, The Glasshouse Cafe is where you can enjoy a good range of cafe-style food. Visitors that visit the cafe during lunchtime are able to enjoy a lunch special which goes for only $15.
The chorizo in the Mexican Poached Eggs dish was what gave the dish its delectable smoky and slightly spicy taste, which was balanced by sundried tomato. The poached eggs had lovely runny yolks and the spinach provided a bit of freshness. Served with the dish were slices of sourdough toast.

We liked that the scrambled eggs we chose for the Glass House Breakfast were light and fluffy, and the bacon and sausage were cooked just right. The homemade potato rosti was not too dense and had a hint of herby flavour. The earthy flavour of the mushrooms went well with the meats. Completing the dish were baby spinach, grilled tomato and a slice of sourdough toast.

Aside from their main offerings, the cafe also offers a few pastries for those looking for a quick eat. While we thought the pastry of the Almond Croissant was a bit soft, it still had enough almond filling to give it the degree of flavour you would expect. A topping of flaked almonds provided some crunch and a dusting of icing sugar gave it an eye-catching appearance.

The decor of the cafe gave it a relaxed and casual feel. Its close location to office buildings makes it convenient for office workers to grab a delicious breakfast before heading to work.
