I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

A range of accommodation options

The self-contained rooms are scattered around the 5 acres of orchard and rainforest. Various quirky signs and sculptures made from repurposed mag fails are placed around the property. The property is close to nature walks and is in the shadow of the majestic Mt Tibrogargan. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely linens. Free Wi-Fi is provided but the connection and mobile reception is quite patchy in this area.

A self serve breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bread, spread and fruit is provided on the railway carriage veranda for $12 per adult. There are common areas to relax in such as the railway carriage and the upstairs deck where board games, books, and information about the local area are available.

Interesting wildlife

The Glass House Mountains Ecolodge is a great place to stay in the Sunshine Coast hinterland not far from Australia Zoo and the coast.it would be suitable for a romantic getaway or a large family reunion. The friendly owner/host Keith is welcoming and loves to share his wealth of knowledge about the history and environment of the local area.
