If the idea of finding a quaint little bakehouse, somewhere set in the country appeals to you, you are sure to enjoy the .

It is a small little bakery set on a hill, surrounded by a sweet little garden and some outdoor seating areas.

Their pies are just amazing; I really enjoyed the cauliflower and cheese pie here.

If something sweet is more your craving, they stock quite an extensive range of cakes pastries and pies. All served beautifully with lashings of good old-fashioned charm.

At the front of the bakehouse there is usually a basket on fine days, filled with blankets, for your use, allowing you to actually have a picnic in the grounds if you prefer.

If you would like to take something home from your visit, there is a range of fudge, chocolate, jams, preserves and sauces that you can take home to share.

The inside of the house is filled with country charm, with rustic wooden tables and great old-fashioned decorations. Tea is served in lovely big old pots and it is certainly a welcome break on your way out to the Yarra Valley.

Recently they have been offering lovely breakfasts and tasting platters to share; you will often find something new on the menu.
