This is the best value shopping trip you will make this year and it is also fun checking out all the items of clothing. It will be held on Saturday 21st July, at 7.30 pm, at the Kallaroo Anglican Church, Corner Aristride and Dampier Avenues, Kallaroo.
Entry is by donation of $10 or just $5 with a packet of size 8, 10 or 12 ladies mid to fullsize knickers or a packet of flannels! Please note: no "G-string knickers".
How this Give and Take Swap works: You get there at 7.30 pm, along with your clean clothes, which must be in excellent condition.
These are to be women's clothes including handbags, shoes, costume and accessories (no pierced earrings due to health reasons) that you no longer want/need.
You can even bring your old bras in any condition, to donate to Project Uplift. These bras are sent to countries in need, and they control breast swing when women bend to garden or cook at ground level.
Also in some of these places where it is very humid, rashes, fungal infections and abscesses occur between the breast and the chest wall. Bras help by allowing air circulation.
Nursing mothers are often in need of these as they allow the dignity of a dry shirt and the comfort of support.
