Mountain bike riding is lots of fun, great exercise and healthy to be outdoors meeting others and enjoying the environment.

As part of Council's Active and Healthy, Cycling Brisbane is hosting several workshops for all ages throughout Brisbane, where you can learn in the comfort of an experienced teacher the basic skills of riding off-road. As off-road is not as smooth as the streets and bikeways, this is an opportunity for you to hone your skills or learn from the beginning the best way to become a great mountain bike rider.

The Guys and Girls Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Event is FREE to those over sixteen years of age. You must register to attend through Eventbrite and choose the day that best suits your availability. The days are 10th April and 5th June 2021 from 8.00 to 9.00am.

The Meeting Place is at Gap Creek Reserve Picnic Area Car Park, Gap Creek Road, Mount Coot-tha . Please bring your mountain bike, helmet, water, sunscreen and wear suitable riding clothes.

For more information on this event, please call Roadie Rob's Bicycle School on 0416 247 883.
