Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant is located at the Stamford Plaza Hotel on North Terrace in Adelaide. We went there for a birthday dinner because we just came back from Tokyo and were missing the food there. We ordered the Tofu Steak, Sauteed Mushrooms, Teriyaki Chicken, Grilled Kingfish, Kamo Steak and Roasted Wagyu Fillet.
The Tofu Steak was silky smooth and complemented perfectly by the mushroom sauce.
The duck for the Kamo Steak was perfectly cooked with the crispy skin nicely contrasting with the tender meat. The pepper and mustard sauce that came with the dish was delicious and complemented nicely with the duck.
The dishes we ordered cost between $18 (Tofu Steak and Sauteed Mushrooms) to $43 (Roasted Wagyu Fillet). Seating was the conventional table and chairs, with a room with traditional Japanese seating available.
