Here's someone who is described as a "7 foot temptress", has one of the most majestic beards, and possesses a truly powerful voice that has no limits on its levels of intonation.

Starting with a black and white film, the scene is set for the audience to feel like they've been teleported to the golden era of the late 50s - early 60s, when women did not have quite the realistic expectations that we enjoy today.

Donning a series of different looks and makeup skills that put ours to shame, Gingzilla strutted her "runway walk" as she appeared from the shadows and flashed her best "smize" look to the audience, while making her way to the stage. Breaking down the stereotypes that women are known to be submissive, Gingzilla unleashes her inner free spirit by singing her heart out and giving us the attitude of "I am my own person" - a new role model in the making? I think so!

Gingzilla beautifully balances her sensitive and monstrous side - both of which are glamorous, attractive, and unique in their own sense. It is completely normal to feel confused at times during the act - we'd like to think that Gingzilla's character evolves and develops with our understanding of the show as it progresses along. Some of the musical hits in the crowd included her spin on the classics, such as The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army", Kanye West's "Monster" and of course, who can forget the famous words of Sir Tom Jones - "She Is A Lady" - powerful words to start the revolutionary movement of women taking charge of their own lives.

If you're one of the lucky audience members, she may even invite you on stage to lick an ice-cream stick or munch on some popcorn with her. It will be quite a sight! Expect a bit of comedy, a bit of dialogue, a bit of singing, a touch of seduction, and a lot of electric energy that fills up the room and keeps the audience at the edge of their seats!

Making her debut at Adelaide Fringe this year, Gingzilla was such a massive hit, she even extended her shows to go for an extra week...and it was just in time for her to win the weekly award for Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe. Personally, I sincerely hope that Gingzilla will be back for the Adelaide Fringe season next year - after all, with that fiery beard, that slender physique, and the different hairstyles that are always on point, Adelaide is going to be the hottest place in town, thanks to a certain Gingzilla!
