The much-loved Ginger Flower and Food Weekend festivities are jam-packed with the most awe-inspiring line-up of presenters, chefs, garden walks, talks and activities and the best news of all … it's absolutely free to enjoy!

FROM FRIDAY 21 JANUARY TO SUNDAY 23 JANUARY, THE GINGER FACTORY WILL BE SHOWCASING
Cooking Workshops and Demonstrations including Chef Dominique Rizzo, one of Queensland's leading female chefs, who will be creating purely delicious, healthy, real food with Buderim Ginger.
Gardening Walks and Talks which will include a much-loved and respected horticulturalists, Cath Manuel, who will be presenting from Soil to Supper as well as a fascinating talk by Dr Tim Heard, an entomologist and ex-CSIRO research scientist, who will enlighten his audience on bee hotels and so much more.

Award-winning hand-crafted on the Sunshine Coast, Kokopod chocolate's founder, Brigid, will share her obsession with European chocolate and her personal journey creating a renowned South East Queensland chocolate brand.
Three thousand plus spectacular plants for sale - an inspiring way to restock your summer gardens with ornamental gingers and heliconias
Live Music and Entertainment will be provided by The Robyn Brown Trio (live Jazz) and the inimitable Dame Edna Everage, who will be gracing 'possums' to the Ginger, Flower and Food Weekend with her fabulously big personality.
A visit to The Ginger Factory is not complete without participating in the fabulous fun rides that are available for families, including Moreton the Ginger Train*, who is definitely older than you and me and the Overboard Boat Ride*, where the Ginger Man is always on the run from hungry chefs in far-distant countries.
