The City of Salisbury has a variety of programs catered for children as young as 0 years to 5 years. Children can have fun playing while learning as well.
One program is called Giggle Time. This suits children aged 0 to 2 years, where they can have fun sharing books, songs and nursery rhymes. This session is held every Monday at 10am.
Another program is called Story Time, which is suitable for children aged 3 to 5 years. Children will hear stories, rhymes and language. This will help children build their creativity and imagination. The session is held every Thursday at 10am
There is also a program called Family Phonics. The aim of this program is to help foster cultural integration and also assist CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) families with early literacy skills. Children will learn phonetic sounds, rhymes and play. This is held every Wednesday at 10 am.
All the above sessions are held during school term only in the Mawson Lakes Library, Mawson Lakes. Sessions are free, however, "
if numbers exceed expected attendance, programs will be capped to ensure the safety of all participants".
