Also this year the disco soup is back with a bicycle for you to produce your own smoothies and a growers corner for local produce. At the Talks Marquee, there will be talks from Alain Fabregues on truffles. Alain will be selling inoculated trees.
Nola will be talking for the WA Jujubes Association and these already grow in Gidgegannup. David will be talking about growing blueberries. Sabrina Hahn will be the key speaker this year. Sabrina is well known for her expert gardening advice on the radio and at shows.
In the Small Landholders Marquee, Simon Cherriman will be talking about the majestic eagles and his journey tracking them throughout Western Australia. Darryl Hardie will be giving lots of advice about pests in the garden and so much more!
It will be held on Sunday 27th May 2018 at the Gidgegannup Showgrounds, 2171 Toodyay Road. For visitors, this Countryman Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day is the place where those living and working on small farms in the agricultural sector, can see heaps of things in the one area.
You can also compare from a selection of products and services designed to help you with efficient farming and rural practices. For those people who are contemplating a "sea change" onto a small or larger property, this is an excellent first place to start finding out information.
