I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
There will be an unusual sight in Macquarie Centre soon. From Thursday November 29 until Friday December 7, there will be a Giant Inflatable Snow Globe in the Centre Court on Level One. The globe will be six metres wide by five metres long and four metres high. It will contain a snow-like substance to help get that snow globe effect.
The globe isn't just for decoration though. Visitors are able to get inside and create some memorable Christmas photos with family and friends. It may by one of your only opportunities to have a white, winter Christmas in Australia, so I recommend taking a look. It costs nothing to enjoy the unique experience.
Right next to the globe, you can also get your picture taken with Santa, who will be at the Centre Court from 10am to 4pm daily, and until 8pm on Thursdays.
Macquarie Centre is easily accessible by bus and train, which both have stops nearby (if you're catching the train, you will get off at Macquarie University Station). You can also drive to the centre, which has ample parking.
