Find those elusive Easter eggs and get through the maze
Easter is synonymous with eggs and egg hunts, and this Easter will be no exception at Shorehaven. If you like chocolate, like an adventure and a family fun day, then Shorehave is the place to be on Easter Saturday.
On Saturday 31st March, 2018, there will be the added complication of a maze which you will need to work your way through in order to find the loved chocolate eggs.
Navigate your way through the twists and turns of this giant Easter maze while you attempt to find those elusive chocolate Easter eggs!
This will be a challenge for the whole family as the walls are a high 1.85 metres, with 1.5 metre wide corridors, and naturally, as befits a maze, plenty of dead ends.
When (and perhaps if) you do work your way through this huge puzzle, you will then have to test your hand-eye coordination with an "egg and spoon race". You can also try your luck at the "bunny hop races" which are unique and great fun.
As well as this Easter chocolate egg hunt and especially for the children, there will be Easter themed activities, including a special visit from none other than the Easter Bunny!
You can bring your own picnic lunch, or if you do not feel like making it, you can purchase a tasty sausage sizzle from the Northshore Christian Grammar School volunteers, who will make your sausage sizzle to your liking. You will also be able to buy cafe food at the Coastal Cafe.
This family-friendly Easter event is free for everyone and will be open from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm and will be held at Waterfront Park, Shorehaven, at Alkimos.
This is "A Shore Things event" which will be cracking good fun for Haveners (Shorehaven residents), friends of all ages, as well as the general public.
It will be presented by Peet & Co, and Shorehaven is all about the Beach Life with direct access to 1.7 km of pristine coastline, swimming beach with outdoor showers in Waterfront Park, and featuring sweeping views of the beach, with barbecue facilities, and a Coastal Cafe to enjoy all year round.
Shorehaven is about more than just fabrics and flooring - it is a unique, vibrant community already living their beach-side dream. Here, there are frequent community events, neighbourhood businesses partnering with locals, a great range of amenities =and special events like this great Easter egg hunt.
