Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2016, Ghostbusters Answer the Call, comics, Ghostbusters comics

The Ghostbusters, Abby, Patty, Erin, and Holtzmann, are on a call out to deal with a "simple Class III spook", but what they find when they show up is a much scarier Class VII. What seemed to be a tiny ghost child turns out to be an apparition that feeds on fear which, once released, threatens the entire city.

Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is a 5 issue limited series that debuted in 2017, following the adventures of the new Ghostbusters from Ghostbusters (2016), the all-female reboot of the popular 80s film franchise. The writer, Kelly Thompson (of Jem and the Holograms and the novels The Girl Who Would Be King and Storykiller), has done a great job of capturing the voice of the characters from the film, with the same humour and quirky personalities, and the artist, Corin Howell (who also worked on Jem and the Holograms as well as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics), has captured their likenesses well.

Issue #1 also contains a story featuring the original four male Ghostbusters, to be continued in a crossover comic called Ghostbusters 101 featuring both teams working together.

Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is an action filled, funny comic that fans of the movie are sure to love.
