I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Great coffee, breakfasts and light lunches are available at GG Espresso Sydney Olympic Park. They also serve morning and afternoon teas, beers, wines and cocktails (see the drink menu).
When out cycling we are always on the lookout for somewhere to grab a coffee and a healthy light lunch. GGs fits the bill. The coffee is well made and delicious and they have quite a few lunch options or for the early riser, breakfast. See the Pitt Street menu for examples. GGs will provide takeaway and also have a catering service.
It is a friendly casual cafe and you can choose to sit inside or in our case outside where we can watch on our bikes. The menus are on the table and you order and pay at the counter. Tap water is freely available, there are newspapers on the counter and toilets onsite down the hallway.
The calamari slaw salad is a generous serve and is accompanied with a spicy creamy chipotle mayonnaise. My favourite was the roasted vegetable salad. The warm salad was full of carrots, beans, beetroot, chickpeas and kale and I chose to add smoked salmon to increase the protein. The salad was delicious but one can also add chicken, haloumi or bacon.
