The burger café we visited was tucked up a side street on 24 Breton Street in West End. Getta Burgers are also located in Bridgeman Downs, Clayfield and Carina. The décor of the shop is recycled corrugated iron walls and old bus seats.

I ordered a Getta Lot burger – filled with a beef patty, bacon, double cheese, grilled onion, tomato, lettuce and 'That BBQ sauce', mustard, pickles and mayo. It cost a sweet fifteen dollars. I enjoyed my burger and it ranks in my list of top five burgers in South East Queensland.
My dining partner ordered a Getta Boss burger with 12 hour smoked beef brisket, crispy bacon, double cheese, pickles, jalapenos and 'That BBQ sauce'. He raved about the burger to his friends and loved the beef brisket the most.

He also ordered the Getta Filthy Fries. These were a generous serving of potato chips topped with cheese, smoked brisket, pulled pork, grilled onion and maple bacon. Finished with more of that sauce, ranch and mustard for eleven dollars. You could eat just the chips alone, but I think they are best shared between two people.
All of the sauces are made in house and contain spices, so you can leave it off if you don't like chilli. The meat of the burgers is all made from scratch in house.
During the week there is a $15 lunch special, which includes a burger, fries and a bottle of water or soft drink. You can choose from three different best-selling burgers from 11:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday.
One of the best features of Getta Burgers is that they are licenced and sell local beer, including brews from the Newstead Brewing Company.
The meal was good value for money.
Getta Burgers are better than 'just good burgers' They are first-class burgers.
