Get sweatier and join in the fun
For anyone who dearly misses the excitement and entertainment of Aerobics Oz-style, then head on over to see the comedic fun of Cheryl and Chardee at this year's Fringe Festival. Who needs to tune into old VHS videos of the now-defunct show when these girls leave you wanting to dust off your legwarmers, leopard print leotards and sidestep to the music of the 80's. A fun-filled show packed with references to 80s Icons such as Richard Simmons, Pat Benatar and Mia Baker, the girls make you feel part of the show with their well-versed audience participation style, which is highly entertaining.
Cheryl and Chardee fuse Aerobic fitness with hilarious comedic material in a show which will leave you wanting to grapevine out of there and crimp your hair until it won't crimp any more. Make sure you don't miss these self-proclaimed, "semi-professional aerobic dance instructors" as they expertly invite the crowd into a world where they are the 80s aerobic experts you didn't know you needed.
Don't take yourself too seriously, grab a glass of West coast cooler and aerobically march your way to their next show. Check the Fringe guide for times and venues available:adelaidefringe.com.au.
