Did you know that parts of Adelaide and North Adelaide used to be the centre of the German community? They lived, worked and relaxed in the city. Some of them had also made an impact on the city's culture. In the 19th century, numerous identities and businesses flourished along Rundle Mall and Rundle Street.

This February and May 2022, the Workers' Educational Association of South Australia (WEA) invites you to participate in four different heritage walks to learn about this German community and culture. You'll gain insights into their lives and the influence they had on commerce. Forgotten history will be uncovered in these easy two-hour walks. The walk leader Benjamin Hollister will also throw in a touch of humour here and there.

The cost is $36 per person per walk. Your choice of dates are 13th and 20th of February and 15th of May. For more information and to secure your spot, please head to their website at www.wea-sa.com.au .
