Inside Gerbinos classic bakery
This historic bakery in Ashgrove, which dates back to 1934, has retained the charm of the past while bringing a European flair to the present.
Gerbinos Paticceria and Bakery still produces traditional favourites like sausage rolls, vanilla slice and lamingtons as well as serving international, italian delights like creamy sicilian cannoli, delightful poggios and refreshing gelato.
Ready made fresh quiches and authentic Italian pizza bases take care of dinner and fresh layered cakes solve the dilemma of what to take for that last minute work morning tea or special birthday surprise.
Beautiful italian biscuits
Though not pretending to be an espresso bar, Gerbinos serves reasonably priced segafredo zanetti coffee ($3.50) which can be enjoyed outside on the paved brick shop front on one of the brown french styled wicker chairs or inside on the modern bench seats.
Street parking is available on Ashgrove Avenue and neighbouring side streets. This family owned bakery is one of four stores. You can also visit a Gerbinos in Kelvin Grove, QUT Gardens Point and Toowong Village and bring the taste of Italy to your next bakery experience.
