A lot has happened for George since 2016 – he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, lost his keys on Arthurs Seat and managed the 'Jesus' effect of an all boys' school education on his ability to successfully date women; like turning water into wine.

It's been a big year!

Regrets?

Some…

Mistakes?

Maybe…

So, what does it all mean George?

Gathered downstairs in the den of the Bull & Bear Bar with an attentive audience, George asks the big questions and heads into the 'no-go zone' where many male comedians fear to tread – into their emotional bear cave.

Now for George, this is a real place. Ge has located it on his psychological map and planned an itinerary. It's like we've been invited to the men's shed, and George has put the power tools away and pulled out the whiskey.

From dealing with compliments and passive aggression of older male role models to burying feelings and dancing to 90's boy bands, George leaves Australia for a trip of self-discovery at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

A time of doubt and primal activity; getting drunk, sleeping in unknown places with unidentified persons, trying to navigate Loveland and first date behaviour, wrestling with masculinity and loneliness.

George weaves together a series of unfortunate events, from performing in Scotland to the calamity and confusion of climbing a mountain whilst drunk and realising you have lost your clothes, phone and keys and have no one to call.

Like the comedy of Aristophanes, 'self-sabotage' does not always end in disaster; when you hit rock bottom - the only way is up!

Don't miss 'Self-Sabotage' this comedy festival.
